    Hi All

I have just been offered this projector (sanyo plc5605b).
I have been using it, all last week and am very impressed. It comes with the remote control/ manuals/ cables and a spare bulb.
What do you think its worth and is this projector any good.

    Thanks in advance.

SVGA business projector, something like 700 ANSI, about 4-5 yrs old, not the quietest projector on the block, can't recall if it has 16:9 compression mode.

At the right price and with a spare lamp too it could be a good deal - run it for six months and sell it on for a little less than you paid. Price around £300 - £450 depending on condition.

New projector prices have been dropping fast. The discontinued Pana AE100 is available as a clearance line for about £800 new. That'll get you a more "home cinema" designed product with a similar brightness and with a full warranty. It will be quieter too.

    Regards
