hard isnt it !! , definitely something that takes years of practice i reckon , i see you have a 40d , what lens though , looks as though you need more reach , i have been to santa pod and you are not that far away from the action unless they have altered it :)

I was stood up on the grass bank. I have a 50-200 lense but decided to take my 18-55 canon lens.

The white van is my mate and it has an RS 2000 engine in it running around 180bhp.

Here is one I took a couple of months ago at Santa pod, it's tricky trying to get them coming off the line, especially the top fuel cars.

I was going to try and get a picture of the jet car, but i needed my fingers to put in my ears.

sod that i would have took pictures !!! , i have been to far too many rock concerts and my hearing is still perfect :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
