When I've finished charging/loading the player there isn't the option to 'Safely Remove Hardware' (usually this appears in the task bar whenever you connect something via USB). The only way to disconnect the player is to unplug it but I've heard that this can corrupt the data on some devices. Has anyone here ever had any problems with this?

I purchased a Clip for review purposes with the iPod in the sig and have had no problems just pulling out. I went along with it as like you I saw no "safely remove hardware"

Indeed when just pulling out you can see that the player is working to make sure the database is OK

OK, that's reassuring, thanks. It's a great little player.

Yes, great little player. If Sandisk took the same idea and housed it in a sexier body and added gapless playback support across for the Clip, Fuze and View then it would be pretty much perfect
