Nothing really. Sandisc is actually supposed to be faster than the Sony one though, so get over Sony if u can.

Thanks, Sandisk appears to be cheaper than Sony anyway, and I think Sandisk actually make the cards for Sony

the gaming ones are different coloured (depending on size) and don't come with the adapter to allow you to use them with a non-duo device

I had ordered the 1GB gaming stick but was sent the normal pro duo, so I e-mailed SanDisk to determine whether or not to accept it. They replied telling me to return it and purchase the correct gaming memory. They did not explain why or what the difference is but obviously the gaming stick must be more suitable for the PSP or they would have told me to keep the other one.

Have been told that the gaming ones are quicker for downloading to, which might be true as i have the standard stick and it does take an age to load anything on it.

Anyone know if there are usb2.0 cables available and if this would speed the process up?? [not sure if PSP is usb2 compatible??]

People on another forum have bought from them and were fine.

I have this stick [but bought from neodisc.com], and apart from my comment above about the slow-ish write times, can't fault it, and would rather save £20 than pay high street prices.

Yes the PSP is 2.0 compatible and the cable will make a big difference, with a USB 1 cable 280mb typicaly takes 7 minutes to transfer but with USB 2.0 it takes 2min.

A point to note is that it is supposed to be even faster if you use a card reader!
