Samsung's vs Sony's colour palette

Today i saw from close up, the Samsung Q-led Series... almost the whole variety of the T series (60,70,80,90). Of course i did see a few equivalent Sony Bravias (H & G) as well. What i cannot figure out is if its possible to make Samsung's colour palette to come close to the Sony's palette.
The Samsung's did seem brighter but kinda "plastic" coloured too. On the contrary, the Sony's gave me the feeling that they had a more natural colour palette, but im not 100% certain if this was the case. I am wondering though if this "naturallity" in the colour, can be accomplished on the Q-leds too? Or is it something thats created by the Samsung's or Sony's panel and thats it?
