Samsung WS24V53NS problem

    Hi all

I recently bought a Samsung WS24V53NS but when I got it home there were some strange "trails" that appeared on the screen, particularly when images were high in contrast (eg white credits on black background at the end of a flm).

I thought my TV was broken, so got it replaced but I still have the same "problem".

It looks as if the bright part of the screen has left a ghostly "trail" from where it started all the way to the right hand edge of the screen, it is particularly noticeable when watching DVDs. I can reduce the effect by lowering the brightness, but surely this trail should not be there in the first place?

Any ideas / suggestions as to what this may be?
