Hiya all.

Its a tough job trying to figure out what TV with all the options out there!!

I have found a well priced Samsung WS-28M64VS (£400, although there is no stand) and wanted to get some opinions. I know that there was a review in Home Cinema Choice magazine in the October issue, but I cant find a copy of it anywhere. If any of you do have, please let me know the low-down.

Also, has anyone here dealt with netelectrics.biz? Any problems?

Finally, if you have any suggestions for other TV's int he same price range, it would be much appreciated!!

I have also seen the following models, although they are slightly more :

Philips 28PW6506C
SHARP 28JF73H
TOSHIBA 28Z27B
PANASONIC TX28PL1
JVC AV28T25S

Any thoughts? Worth spending the extra?
Once again, thanks for any help you can provide!!:)

Philips-Yes
Sharp-Maybe
Toshiba-No (Stand is crap and can't support the weight of TV)
Panasonic-Yes
JVC-Maybe (No tilt control!)

Or how about
Philips 28PW6515 (I've got one and very happy)
Sony 28LS35 (A Forum favourite I think)

There now you're confused what to buy aren't you!!:D

Thanks for the reply mate.

1. The Phillips that you have (28PW6515), what kind of price should I be looking at? How does it differ from the 28PW6506C? And any sugggestions on where I can get it from?

2. Any comments on the Samsung (WS-28M64VS). I have seen 2 very different reviews of it. But £400 does seem like a very good price. What are your thoughts?

Paid £459 from Comet Direct for Philips in August.
Don't think they are doing it anymore. Checkout www.pricerunner.com

Samsung is OK but definately not the best. Dont think there are any av phono skts at back. Helps if you want to connect ext sub-woofer/satelites which I have done to mine.

To compare Philips sets just go to www.philips.co.uk where you can check all the specs and d/l manuals etc.

Hope I haven't confused you too much but it's worth making the right choice. :p
