What does every one think? would the value for money Samsung be the best choice, or would the better spec Panasonic be better?

The Samsung :http://www.currys.co.uk/martprd/sto...duct&fm=11&sm=0&tm=0&sku=835543&category_oid=
The Panasonic : http://www.weymouthhifi.co.uk/website/panasonic/panasonic tx26lmd70.htm

The price difference is alot of money, but the contrast is double on the panasonic, has an extra HDMI port, and seems slightly better future proofed.

If anyone has either set, or one similar, (same design, different size) can you please post what you feels good and bad about it, because its hard to jusge, when one had Ice Age 2 on, and the other had Terrestrial TV.

Also can you explain why you chose what you did, because i need to know everyone's experience's, even if its just 'I don't like samsung' or 'Panasonics Customer Support Is Rubbish'.

Im not really worried about sound quality, i'll hopefully have some kind of Hi-Fi by then

Thanks :smashin:

Matt

Panasonics winning, only 1 vote though...

the best tv i have seen is panasonic viera 37" plasma. the picture is fantastic.
the same model is used when sky are promoting the premier movies. i have seen it on various sites, and prices vary, anything from £1100-£1700.
