Samsung unwraps new 40in LCD TV

    <img src="http://www.avforums.com/news/images/20050729182034.jpg" align="right">Samsung has announced a few details on a new 40in LCD TV it's about to launch into the UK.</p><P>The LE40R51B is an HD Ready model with a native resolution of 1366x768 pixels, a claimed brightness of 500cd/m2, and a claimed contrast ratio of 800:1. Connections include an HDMI jack, two Scarts, a D-Sub PC jack and a set of component video inputs. Other features, meanwhile, include Samsung's DNIe image processing, and a contrast booster that claims to up the perceived contrast on the TV to 3000:1.
