Question Samsung ue50mu6100 - HDR issue

Novice Member
Hi guys,

Hopefully someone can help me.

I’m trying to get my Samsung ue50mu6100 working in 4K HDR with a PS4 Pro.

The PS4 is hooked up directly to the TV (have tried all three HDMI ports) and have updated the firmware on both devices.

However, the best resolution available on the PS4 is 2160p – YUV420.

2160p – RGB is greyed out and it says (unsupported). And when I try turn HDR on it says my TV doesn’t support it.

From reading online I believe I have to turn “HDMI UHD colour” on in the expert settings on the TV but it’s not there.

I've trawled through the settings options and can't find anything. There's an option for HDR+ mode, but I understand this is a way of up-scaling non-HDR content, so probably not what I'm looking for.

Any ideas?
