I recently moved into a new build flat there are two satellite ports I am using for my new Samsung TV.
Initially all works well and tuned in, but after the tv has been off for a while the Freesat stops working for certain channels, channel4, capitalfm etc. A retune will then say the postcode is invalid, the only way to resolve the issue is to remove the satellite cable from the wall socket and put it back in again. I tried swapping the two cables around although they are the same cables (same manufacturer and model) but the same thing happens.
I tried turning off the auto tuning but this didn’t seem to help, I don’t have another Freesat device to check with, but this leads me down to three options, an issue with the setup of the satellite, the cables, or the TV.
Does anyone have advise on where to start first or what he issue could be this is a communal Saterlite dish. I have seen on google some people having similar issues and it turned out to be a tv fault.
