Just bought a Samsung UE49KU6470 49" TV which I want to wall mount.

I purchased a full VESA compatible tilt/swivel mount which comes with a variety of screws to allow it to be fitted to the rear of any VESA compatible 24"-55" TV. However, even the longest screws (M8 fitment, 35mm) seem too short for the bottom 2 holes in the rear of the UE49KU6470 - they just about touch the thread but can't even make one turn.

I have 2 other Samsung TVs (one 42" plasma, one 40" LED) which are a few yrs old, and the exact same mount & screws fit them fine. I've tried googling the UE49KU6470 spec but finding it hard to find the exact screw lengths needed for these holes. Does anyone know if these newer Samsungs use a different size of screw from the usual?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I would go to B&Q and buy a couple of longer M8 bolts, then just saw them to the right length.
