Hi All,

Firstly, I do not know anything about audio at all. I know a little about video but thats about it. So any advise will be much appreciated.

I had been looking to get a Soundbar for a while and at the end I bought a YAS-107 last week.

It works brilliantly, but I am not sure if I am connecting it correctly and what sound settings I need on the TV.

I have 4 HDMI ports on the TV and the current setup is
TV HDMI ARC to YAS ARC
STB to HDMI1
PS3 to HDMI3

Previously, before the Soundbar, all sound was through the TV Speaker. But now, I see other options on the TV sound menu. Not sure how I should set it up so I have the optimal settings.

So, according to Samsung menu, is the Soundbar also called a Receiver?
What is PCM and DTS Neo 2:5?

What would you say I should set the TV up as so I can have the best sound experience?

When I tried the PS3, I was getting sound from the TV and the Soundbar. So I mute the TV.

I am also getting a Red glow from the DD/DTS, but I cant find what that means in the YAS manual. The Surround is glowing Blue.

So do I need two surround setting? One on the TV (Neo 2.5) and one on the Soundbar?

Many thanks in advance

JL
