Looking to buy a new TV but being out dated with whats good with TVs now these 2 where the best I came up with for my price range.

Samsung UE46F6800 or the Sony KDL50W829BBU.

Apart from the 4inc in size can anyone give me a good reason to buy one over the other? They both seem to get a good reviews from the AV forums youtube videos.

I did get the impression that the samsung was a better TV but the spec on the Sony looks better.

Help!

Cheers

Mainly blu-rays and HD-TV watching. 3D/Gaming would be used on some occasions.

I have just seen though that the Sony doesn't support a Vesa bracket which might cause me a few issues. I could do with seeing the attachment it comes with if anyone knows where I can see this info.

Thanks for that, I had no idea they didnt support the Vesa mounts.

I assume the Sony is the better of the 2 TVs then?

The placement of my wall mounted TV is a right pain so to change the mount is going to involve alot of work, so if the quality of the Sony set is worth it I better get to work!
