    Hi,

Forgive me if this seems a stupid question but for the life of me I just cannot get my head around the problem.
    I have a Samsung UE40D8000, Yamaha RX-V1065, Foxsat HDR and a Philips DVD-HR733.
I have a KPN Card in the CI Slot (now live in the Netherlands) for Dutch TV. I got the Philips DVD Recorder just for Dutch TV when I used to have a seperate KPN Digital Tuner. Since getting the KPN CI Card I cannot work out how to record from it onto the Philips DVD Recorder. The DVD Recorder is connected via HDMI as is the Foxsat which works beautifully. I can see the DVD Rec. menu but cannot get it to lock onto the KPN signal via the CI Card.
Do I just have to use the Scart connection with the scart adapter?

    Thanks

    Hi Andy,

Yes it is in the CI slot of the TV. So I would have to use a USB Hard Drive in order to record of it. I doubt the KPN card would work in the Foxsat, what do you think?

    Cheers

    John

No idea with the Foxsat, although you can manually tune.

The KPN card won't work in the Foxsat so my only option is to use a USB HDD.

Do you know if, once the drive is formatted by the TV, you can copy music files onto it or will the computer not recognise the drive once it has been formatted by the TV?

    Thanks for your help.
