Samsung UE32H5500AK - no networks showing in network list - bad wifi module?

Afternoon all, I have been given a Samsung UE32H5500AK TV. Switches on and works OK. When I connect to the internet via ethernet no problem. When I select wireless connection, no networks show up and it just returns back to the select wireless or wired connection option. I have factory reset the TV and updated the TV software (using the ethernet connection but I wanted the TV in another part of the house and need to use the wireless connection option. Would this indicate a faulty WIFI module or would the fact that the TV is actually trying to find a wireless network overrule this? Any help would be fantastic.

If you go to the about this TV section in the menu, check to see if there is a wireless MAC address. If it says invalid the WiFi card needs replacing.
