Samsung TV's Seem Crisper and Smoother than Sony TV's - Why is This?

Hi,

I've been using my Samsung UE43KU6000 for the past 4 years and decided to go for a larger model of TV, so I ended up buying a Sony FW-55BZ35F (its a TV screen only without a tuner, as I have a seperate Sat box for UK FreeSat).

The move from one screen to the other was due to size increase.

I've always been under the impression that Sony TV's are suppose to be smoother crisper and much more process intensive in upscaling content to 4K.

However, so far my experience with the Sony TV hasn't been great, even after following many Youtube videos on configuration options to get the most out of the TV model I've got.

Both TV's were using the same source (my FreeSat box) and in comparison the Samsung is much smoother (seems to refresh better) and the picture seems sharper. Plus the colour is more realistic. I've tried to replicate the colour options on the Sony but it still doesn't meet the standards that the Samsung delivers.

Is this just me (my personal taste) or is there anyone else who thinks the same about Samsung over Sony TV's?

Thanks

Think Sony have lost their way a bit, the oled tv's are good but everything else seems a bit behind Samsung. Much like Sony mobiles, pretty mediocre these days.
