    I have a Samsung UE55H7000 and B&W Panorama 2 Soundbar.

Been working fine for the past 8 months, suddenly ARC no longer works.

The soundbar still comes on with the TV but no audio is sent back down to it. Trying to select 'Receiver' in the Samsung TV menu is also grayed out.

Anyone experienced this problem or have any suggestions?

I would try another HDMI lead and hook it all up when everything is powered down

    Odd one.

Firstly props to Samsung for their superb technical support. Got through to their UK call center, good support advice throughout the call (reset the EDID in the support menu) followed by an engineer visit who determined that one of the devices on the sound bar caused it to lose sync with the TV. (He had to replace the I/O board before determining that!)

The device in question was a PC with a Geforce graphics card with HDMI out. Connecting that direct to the TV fixed all issues.

Personally not particularly thrilled with HDMI or ARC. My old Denon Receiver with all toslink audio signal path was rock solid. With this B&W sound bar and TV at least HDMI never really feels reliable.

Wonder if proper receivers work any better than HDMI soundbars?

Incidentally the B&W Panorama 2 reports itself as a Denon Receiver to the PC so it likely has the same HDMI electronics as Denons basic receivers at least.
