Hi All
Am I right in thinking that a soundbar hooked up to an arc compatible tv via hdmi should flawlessly work? My issue is that when it's "paired" via anynet I turn off the tv with the remote and the soundbar turns off also (great) but when I turn it back on again via the tv remote the soundbar by default is on optical and the anynet is apparently set to receiver (which is right). But they're out of sync - and I have to go into the menu and turn off anynet and set it back up again every time I turn on the TV. Is this expected?
Sound bar is the LG NB4540 4.1 Sound Bar and the TV is a Samsung UE40H5500.
Thanks for any information regarding this, I had a search but couldn't find a similar issue!
