Which tablet would people say is the best out of the samsung tab 3 or the google nexus 10?
or perhaps the Samsung galaxy tab 2 maybe....
Depends whats best for your uses, is the resolution important? The inputs? The price? The memory etc
Also think if you like/prefer vanilla android vs samsungs "customised" version. All Nexus's (Nexi?) get the latest adroid (so Key Lime Pie) as soon as it's released, other tablets may not get it all.
Personally, after having a play with a samsung note and tab, the bloatware and extra stuff put me right off, not nice to navigate with either (IMO).
Google Nexus phones/tablets come with pure android with nothing else added.
Something else to think about
How spooky! I've decided to get my first tablet today and after a bit of research and watching loads of youtube videos, it has come down to these 2 machines for me too! I'm now leaning towards the Nexus 10 myself. Albeit that it's 9 months or so old now, but the superiorscreen res is a big draw for me as is the 2 gig ram. Having said that, most reviews are saying that the Tab 3's specs are basically 2012 anyway!!!! Both are priced approx the same ... I'm gonna pop out and have a hold and play with the Nexus 10 tomorrow and will probably buy it.
Having got the Galaxy Tab 2, I can say the Tab 3 is pretty much identical. Which isn't a bad thing really as I love it.
Thanks. That's interesting as Ive been reading today that there really isn't that much of a step up from the Tab 2 to Tab 3 ... in fact people say that moving the speakers from the front is a backward step!
Close to the truth, the Tab 2 wasn't much of a step forward other than a lower price and a different design. Reverting to the first design is well, going backwards. Saying that I still think the Tab 2 is far better looking than the Nexus 10, one of the reasons why I chose it along with the lower price.
Between the TAB and the 10 there is a pretty significant price difference. Dont even consider the 16GB Nexus 10 as 16GB is not enough especially as you only get around 13GB after the OS has taken the rest. My choice would be the 32GB Nexus 10 if funds allow. The main advantage of the Sammy is the ability to add memory as you probably know already.
