Samsung T-MSU4DEUC-1011 Service menu not responding to controls(help needed)

Hey guys I recently bought a Samsung led tv and when I try to enable usb settings so that I can watch movies from my hard drive the service menu does not respond when I use any of the arrow keys so I cannot even get to the submenu toenable the feature. I can boot the service menu without difficulty it's doing diddly squat. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated
