Samsung Syncmaster 2494hm front buttons... not working?

Hello, yesterday i received my new monitor. Everything seems to work ok until touched the touch buttons in the front of the monitor. The problem is.. nothing happens! .. what im doing wrong?

Do i need to do anything else than touching them? Could they be broken or blocked in anyway?

Please help me..

Well i have read that you can control your OSD options by mouse with some software that the monitor have but... that's not a very good solution. I'm thinking in returning the monitor back and i hope i'll get a new one with the touching buttons working.

That's why i'm trying to fix the problem before sending it. Thank you and i hope someone could help me

I bought two (2) of these monitors, and i have exactly the same problem.
Buttons in BOTH monitors wont respond.

I also wondered, am i doing something wrong? Maybe im not.

I found out that somebody else had this same problem at Tomshardware forum too.

Im thinking of returning these to the shop, and wait for new ones.

So it seems that there's a problem with that model :S It's strange...

Well i was thinking about keeping my monitor but i dont know.. i will not use the menu bottons nevermore i think! Because sending it to warranty it's a mess.. :S
