samsung sync problem

have a samsung TI14n3 in kids room. works ok as a tv and video but when digi box connected via scart socket the picture dosent lock up and no sound. have eliminated box and scart lead. any ideas, maybe a mod

No mod needed, just temporarily connect the box by scart to a different TV and change the output of the STB from RGB to composite video...them reconnect to original TV.
