Does the fact that the sammy SP46 has 100HZ flicker free technology mean that one is less prone to experiencing the rainbow effect due to the higher refresh rate?

PS - Sorry if this is a stupid question!

I suspect that anyone/anywhere that states this TV to have 100HZ flicker free technology is, simply, wrong. The term is only of any real meaning to CRT technology.
