i have been looking at buying this tv for ages now, nice to meet others who have just brought one. about hooking up consoles to a Projection tv..........i know that loads of people do do it BUt im sure i have read in console mannuals tht its not advised so im not really sure. have a quick scan of ure console manual. I do know a friend who has used consoles on this projection tv for years tho without any problems.

where did u get your samsung from? did it come with a stand? and how is the pic quaility with sky, dvd etc........ any comments or opinions would be great thanks

here is a pic ov this baby http://www.samsung.com/au/products/tv/rearprojectiontv/sp_43w6hc.asp
all the specs are there too

    Question
Can I use my Play Station/X Box/ Nintendo/ on my rear projection TV?

    Answer
Displaying any stationary images can cause uneven aging of picture tubes (CRT¡¯s) that leave subtle, but permanent burned-in ghost images in the television picture. To avoid this, vary the programming and images and primarily display full screen moving images, not stationary patterns or dark bars.
