I have just bought one (Samsung SP-50L7HX) from JL and have the Samsung home theatre HT-DS1000

my screen is not clear (fuzzy slightly) therefore I would like help as to what settings produce the best on screen results. Also, when I am listening to sky it comes thru the tv speakers but dvd's come out of the surround system. How do I setup so that sky viewings as well as dvd always use the surround.

    thanks :lease:

    Hi

BTW I love those speakers ! Wish i had some.

Make sure you turn off the internal sound of the tv. There is a option somewhere in the sound menu. Also turn on LNA in the tuning menu i think as this boosts a weak signal. Is your tv fuzzy through sky?? If it is make sure you have RGB selected the setting of your sky box. A bit more information would be useful of what else you have connected and through what means.

well i had a local tv/plasma setup person that done it (I have not got the foggiest). When sky news plays the red button in the top right hand corner is not a complete red circle it is fuzzy  (this is the best description I can give for it).
