I have a Samsung 55" LED (Series 7) and a Samsung HW-H450 soundbar.

They are connected using HDMI via the ARC audio return channel.
It setup for the 'anynet+' function that allows me to use the TV remote to turn both the TV on and off using just that remote. So when I turn the TV on, the soundbar goes on as well to the correct function mode for the TV.
It has worked fine for years ....

However, lately when I turn the TV on, the soundbar does not turn on using the TV remote. It is intermittent and doesn't always happen
If I then turn the soundbar on manually, it starts on Bluetooth, as if it is looking for BT (I have no BT devices paired with my soundbar). Previously it went straight to TV – ARC when I turned the TV on.

I have switched HDMI cables, but this doesn't solve the problem.
I have reset the soundbar and TV but also no resolution.

Could it be a BT device interfering (given it starts on BT)?

Anyone experienced similar issues and have a solution?
It is very frustrating.

Thanks

Ensure both of the CEC enabled devices are running up-to-date Firmware and ensure CEC is properly enabled, a Firmware update can mess up the settings.

If you have any disconnect all external devices from the TV and Soundbar - does CEC now work as expected?
