Samsung Smart TV won’t connect to Spectrum router

Hello, my Samsung smart TV will not connect to spectrum WiFi. My mom’s television (different residence) had the same issue. I’m thinking the connection issue stems from a recent software update. The samsung smart TVs in the living room works fine as it is plugged into router via Ethernet. Is anyone else seeing this issue? Any ideas on how to fix? Thanks!

Does the TV find and show the WiFi network?
Is the Spectrum WiFi network on 2.4 or 5Ghz?
Have you tried setting your mobile phone as a Mobile hotspot and connect the TV to that?

WiFi does show the network but will not allow me to connect. 5Ghz. It did connect to my hot spot. The smart feature was working prior to Monday
