I note from numerous threads that there are people who are only after a large PC LCD monitor. Samsung produce the above set & is available from www.savastore.co.uk for £1603.88. The above specs have been taken from the site. I note however, that the component feeds are BNC X 5. I believe these are widely used in commercial markets? Is it still possible to connect to a Playstation 2 or XBOX as they only have 3 component leads?

Is there anyone with any reviews on this set.

I know that Norvegia, Jackylad & myself are amongst numerous forum users who are specifically after a large LCD for PC use/gaming. I therefore sent an e-mail to the forum administrator & received the following response from Suart Wright, the director of the site.

Maybe if enough people show an interest this category wil be introduced.

I personally do not like the split between plasma and LCD display panels. They are the same thing, just different technology. Quite often, a model is LCD for one screen size, plasma for another. This split makes it difficult to ask questions that affect both technologies or even compares them.

Yes, a different forum for monitors for PC use, be it standard or large screen. But please don't have different forums for say a 32"/37" version of one display and its 42" equivalent.

Agree with IanH64 here, why the need to split this into 2 camps?
Personally I think it's a bad move to fragment it.
