Samsung SM2333HD viewing angle

Bought one of these recently as a "secondary" (read bedroom!) TV and am impressed (esp after linking up to external sound system...).

However one thing I'm slightly puzzled by is setting up the picture for optimal viewing angle at the angle I'm viewing it at.

Eyeline is about 1 foot below the base of the TV, and it's about 8 feet away horizontally. I'm finding when the picture is dark it's the biggest problem, eg night scenes.

Does anyone have any tips for adjusting the picture (brightness, colour, contrast etc) to optimize this?

Thanks,
Ed

Hi

The viewing angles on that model are poor because it uses a TN panel these suffer from limited viewing angles especially when view from below the screen.

The only thing i can suggest to you is to lower the tv more to you eye level.

This review shows some pictures of tn panel viewing angle limitations.
