    Hi guys,

I got my nice new Samsung last Friday; I have read all over the net that you should 'break' a plasma in to prevent permanent burn-in, so I'm currently using a combination of white-colour screen fill and analogue noise to do it. However, with the analogue noise (which I feel works better) it keeps turning off after 15 mins or so. This is obviously a built in feature to prevent burn-in, but is there anyway to remove this feature for the moment while I'm breaking it in?

Thanks for the reply mate - I have tried pressing the DMenu button, but it just says 'Not Available'- any ideas?

    Your help is much appreciated

I think there's a setting where it won't auto turn off from white noise, but never looked for it.

I found the best thing for running the set in, was using the visualisation on my XBox 360 with music, turning the volume down, and letting that run fullscreen. So if you have anything like that, worth a go.

Thanks for the suggestion - how do you create a visualisation?

I tried loading a normal music CD into the drive (like I used to do with the PS1) and nothing happened. Does this mean I have to download a song from the xbox live marketplace to achieve this?

Your help is much appreciated mate
