Anyone else getting this problem, or indeed shed any light onto it.
I currently subscribe to vrigin TV and have there samesung receiver ( SD one )
I can watch it as long as i want, and do so using a scart connection.
Now onto the quirk.
I then turn off the virgin box, and change to a freeview channel on the said TV.
After a random amount of time, the tv auto switches back to the now dead av channel.
If i didn't know better its like the virgin box is sending a signal back via scart pin8 at random even though its off.
I don;t see how the tv woudl change otherwise.
I guess i could try it without pin 8 to prove that theory.
although as per my other thread i am trying to go HD tv for free and it doesnt seem as straight forrward to get all the channels.
