Hiya all. About 3 weeks ago I bought a Samsung LE37R74BDX, and other than a couple of stuck pixels I have been happy with it. However I discovered a problem over the last few days. when I try to display an NTSC signal there is an effect of vertical translucent bars across the screen - the picture is there, no rolling, and in colour, but the bars are a few mm in width and are sometimes very noticeable. It is more pronounced with some dvds or games than others.
I burned a dvd in pal and then the same dvd in ntsc. The Pal one is fine, the NTSC one shows these bars (DVD via component) - dvd's when played in xbox360 show the same results (via VGA). I checked the PAL and NTSC modes on PRO EVO 6 for PS2 (RGB Scart) and the same results, NTSC is dodgy. I play a lot of games in NTSC and watch a lot of video in it, so this is bad news.
My question is, is this a common issue perhaps linked to SD NTSC signals being displayed on HD screens, or have I got a faulty (or crap) telly?

Thanks, Phil.
