So I just got a Samsung Q7FN but I'm having some issues with it.

Activating FreeSync on my Xbox One X I can see dark bars rolling over the screen in the right conditions in games. The video is enhancing the problem as it's not that visable when watching. But it's clearly there..

There's also some dark areas on the screen. As shown with a gray image and in a game.

I use the HDMI cable that came with the Xbox One X so it should be good enough.

    Any thoughts? :(

    Not much activity here...

I noticed something today that might shed some light on the black spot situation. If I move my head more to any side the spot follows.... So there is not a bunch of pixels or LED lights that's the problem in the middle.

I've had a few TV's over the years and never experienced this phenomena. What is this? Hehe, I feel so dumb now as I thought the panel was defect in the middle. But there's something else going on here...

Looks like a uniformity issue. I’d try getting Samsung to send an engineer out or contact retailer.

There’s no LEDs directly behind the screen on this model.

    Hi there!

I've uploaded a new video showing the black area moving as I move my phone to record it. You still think it's the panel and not a limitation of the display technology used? I've had other TV's over the years and never had this black area issue that follows. Light leaks and clouding yes...

Hope you can take a look.
