Samsung PS65F8500 - no smart hub features

For about a week now the smart features on my F8500 hasn't worked. Just says can't connect.

Last time this happened a wasted an hour messing about, resetting the TV, losing my settings to discover the issue was with Samsung and their servers were down.

Before I go through the grief and complete time wasting of fault finding, is anyone else having issue with Samsung smart hub?

If not, does anyone have any suggestions to get it working again?

If it is anything like Panasonic the smart functions are routed via their servers.
