I have had the same problem now with 3 different 6600 sets. This being red flecks over the screen from time to time and am now debating to get a Samsung PS42S5HX.

Is this a good set or shall I try my luck with a 4th 6600?

    Desperate for help

    Kris,

It would sound to me like you need to be looking at something more obvious to the plasma

Try a fourth if you can but I think I would be looking at the cables or whatever is connected further down the cable, ie DVD. Sky.

Are you located near any power lines? telephone aerials, radar?

    are you definately on ext2?

    certainly looks like interference...

I was looking at now getting an LG set, was quite impressed with picture I saw. And I've never seemed to have any problems with television before.

    Might just be bad luck

Can you get the screen back to your local Currys and ask them to set it up and turn it on for you?

If they can and you still have the problems (using their cables etc) then fine, if not its something to do with your set up, cables or location..

Cant imagine 3 x sets are duff....
