Samsung PS42Q7HD connection

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone can advise best way to connect SKY+ and X-box 360 to Sammy Q7. I thought I'd use component cable for 360, leaving HDMI free for imminent upscaler, and buying QED/IXOS scart for SKY connexion. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi,

I have my sky connected to the Q7 with a QED scart and am really happy with it. I would also connect the 360 using component leads. I had a 360 for a few months and tried both component and vga cables on my samsung lcd (sold the lcd to my brother) and the component lead always gave a better picture IMO.

Would it be worth using RGB scart and separate audio, or will good quality std QED scart give equal results on SD?

A fully wired qed scart will give you just as good a picture as an rgb only scart. Obviously if you opt for the seperate audio cables you are going to get better sound quality from your amp than than the tv.
