samsung PS42D5SX V`s PS42S5SX

    looking to get one of the two above but very limited resources in ref to monitors available on the web

    can any of you recommend one over the other and why?????

    Aren't they both identical except the "D" model has built in Freeview. The "S" model has a HDMI input but they're both standard definition screens.

    Ignore what I just posted. As far as I can tell there are 3 newish SD models all with identical screens and processing:

    PS42D5SX - Bog standard model around the £1100 mark
    PS42S5S - Same as above but with 1 HDMI input around £1200
    PS42S5SD - Sama as above but include HDMI and in built Freeview tuner around £1250.

    I think thats the difference, confusing isn't it :confused:

    There are also the PS42S5H (High Definition model) and PS42P5H (premium High Def version).

    When you say you have limited resources there's only around £400 difference between the basic model and the new High Def version.
