How do I turn off the DNIE feature on my Samsung 50" B650 plasma? I'm curious as to what it looks like turned off, I've heard it looks better. But I can not find the setting.

Can someone tell me where its at?

Did they rename it?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
I believe DNIE is the name of Samsung's processing, and you probably can't turn it on/off. All TVs provide some kind of digital information nowadays so I wouldn't expect this one to be any different.

Edit: Digital Natural Image - http://www.samsung.com/us/news/news...&newstype=corporateactivitynews&news_seq=1861 (the text is quite small)

Companies such as Philips sometimes market processing under different names ie. Pixel Plus/Perfect Pixel wheras others use different generational versions (Sony and Panasonic). Samsung seem to downplay this attribute of their TVs, but some of their features are generally well received.
