samsung plasma sound but no picture, burned int. curcuit?

Hello, I am new here. I have a samsung pn50c550gif that is 2 years old, has worked fine until today. Now sound is ok, but no picture at all. I know this issue has been visited extensively, but check out the picture I've attached and look at the pock mark in the integrated curcuit. It is the bottom most chip on the y buffer board. Has anyone seen this prior? It has to be my problem don't you think. I can replace the y buffer board easy enough, but will i have to replace the sustain panel also? Suggestions are appreciated...CS

put in a new y main, y buffer (theres only one long one), and power supply, pic came on for a minute or two and now it is gone again. don't know what to do next...
