    Hi Guys.

Just bought the Sammy LE26R41B and I wonder what settings other people are using, I'm sure it must have been discussed before, so if somebody knows where the thread is, can they point me in the right direction:smashin:

    I use:
    Colour tone: normal
    Contrast: 75
    Brightness: 70
    Colour: 58
Sharpness: 30 (doesn't matter what you have this on, makes no difference!)

There are about 100 threads on this subject, The one thing that is obvious throughout is that each individual will have a different setting. This is because we may all like differing levels of colour, contrast, brightness etc.
Colour is the worst one. Everyone percieves colour in a different way, not just on TV's but in life in general.
The lesson learnt is..... just experiment until you get what YOU want. The out of the box settings on mine were not far from what i like.
    Good luck....:)

    Cheers.
What are people using in conjunction with a Sky box? ie... contrast: (low, medium, high.) RGB: (on,off)

On a unrelated matter concerning the Samsung (new thread), just found out there's a time lag when using external speakers? (not in synchronisation) as anybody else had this problem

Glad it's not just me then & the set-up I have

Just wonder if there's a way round it, there's a echo affect from the TV speakers & the external speakers, most annoying' and when you press the mute button, it stays on the screen:thumbsdow
the set it's replaced did'nt have this problem

Turn down the volume completely instead of muting and you don't get anything on the screen....
No lip sync probs on mine...

You can turn on the internal mute which means the TV speakers are always off but doesnt display a mute symbol on the screen. You can still use external speakers. I get the same problem and havnt been able to find a way to get both sets of speakers to sync. A minor annoyance thought on a great set!
