My parents have a ~3 year old Samsung (can't remember model no) and it developed the old capacitor problem.
They said it wouldn't turn on anymore so they got the power supply capacitors replaced.
It worked ok for a few days but now it has a green tinge in the shadows and the orange/pinks are sometimes wrong.
It has also developed a 1cm pink/green band down one side, while the other side is okish.
That's all the info I have as I haven't seen it myself (my parents live in Australia now).
I was thinking the capacitors could have damaged the screen, but they are fairly sure it was ok for the first few days after the repair, although they said they can't be 100% sure since depending on the scene it can look ok.
Any ideas on what it could be?
Would it be worth taking apart again to check everythings plugged in properly and there's nothing in there that shouldn't be?
Cheers
