I compared the same image on my TV and on a calibrated monitor.
I've found that my Samsung TV has too high gamma value. Even if I change the setting to 3 (the lowest possible gamma), gamma is still too high. In addition, changing the setting shifts the hue of the colors toward green. This can be relatively balanced by adjusting the R / G setting.
Is there any way to adjust gamma except IRE calibration or by adjusting the input source? (eg playback via HDMI from another player)
