    Samsung Multi Room
Hi, I have a Samsung HW-J500R Soundbar. I would like to add a pair of rear speakers.
I was looking at the Samsung Sound+ SWA-S9000 Wireless rear speakers.
According to the spec sheet these are not compatible with my sound bar.

Is there any similar product I could use. Even just a WiFi amp, I have plenty of speakers.

    Cheers
    Frank

What does the Soundbar Manual say about adding additional speakers?

Nothing in respect of what you can add to Multi Room. The app itself (multi room) lists a few options like R5/R3/R1 and R7/R6 also M7/M5/M3/Link Mate but SAMSUNG support mentioned
    Samsung SWA-7000S which I can't find anywhere.

there is a rather large thread over on the samsung forum about issues with the multi room, which i wish i had found before i bought a pair of R6's to go with my MS650 - low volume output and bad lipsync both of which i get to varying degrees depending on source and format

so, i would be careful of going down that route if you cant find an answer to your original question

Rear Speakers and Multi-room are very different requirements!

Unless your Soundbar has been designed with optional Rear Speakers in mind you are looking at replacing the Soundbar if you want a 5.1 system with wired/wireless surrounds.
