Hi All
Anyone had a main board replacement on a Samsung M86/M87?

If so did it have the latest freeview code on it?

Any other experiences with the replacement?

Yes I did, and no it didn't- would have to wait until next DTV transmission. Board replaced in situ.

They've taken mine to the workshop.......so I hope it comes back ok.

They should come with latest FW and DTV SW.

If you are worried give the sevrice centre a call and ask them to make sure it has latest versions before it comes back to you, they can flash both easily and to be honest if they are doing a thorough job they should make sure as part of the repair check.
