Samsung le46m87 + Samsung bd1500 blu ray player

i have a bdp 1500 blu ray connected in hdmi 1 on my samsung le46m87 on the setting for the tv the "hdmi black level" is greyed out and set on "normal" is the normal not to be able to adjust this?

The manual states the following about hdmi black level

This Function is active only when the externel input connects to a
HDMI(RGB signal)

so maybe it the blue ray player not setup correctly or the output from the player is different im not sure.

I have been through setting on Blu Ray player with no luck.. should i have this feature available?

Hi

One more thing to try is to turn xvYCC to on in the samsung lcd menu this might change the hdmi black level to low.
