Samsung LE40R88BD - EEPROM Change (Pinout?)

Standard Member
Hi Guys,

A friend of myn has tried to replace his EEPROM himself as he has classic EEPROM issues after replacing PSU Caps.
He has lifted 5 of the 8 pads !!!

I can see where all of the right hand side pins (5-8) go, but cannot see where pins 1,2,3,4 go to

Does anybody know so I can break the kynar wire out and get this TV back on the wall?

Can post pictures if it helps.

Thank-You SOOOOOOO Much :smashin::smashin:

It looked like that, but I was convincing myself it would not be possible! lol

Should have this TV working in no time at all then :)

Thanks very much for the speed and great response :)

One more quickie;

Does that mean its safe to tie 1,2,3,4 together, to the pad 4 thats available on the board?

I assume so, but thought I better ask :)

I have just fitted an eeprom to my LE40R87, found a kit listed on ebay with instructions, worked a treat and didnt damage the board all for under a tenner, and your right about the pins 1-4 they are all linked together
