Had been trying to order the LE40R51B from the currys website for a while ( I know their reputation is awful but had promotional codes for £100 off and free delivery) But everytime it was out of stock so I decided to go in store yesterday. They told me they would price match the web and even use my code for £100 off but... she checked the stock computer and its been over ordered nationally by 27 through currys but its now out of stock throughout their warehouses nationwide, and there are none due in.
So she checked the currys website and as soon as she saw the item she said they will not get anymore in now as its discontinued ( this I already knew). She then told me that if a price by an item on the website ends in a 7 so 899.97 for example and they do not currently have stock then they will not get any more of that item. Thought that was useful to know.
Good luck to any of you that have managed to order the 40" R51, I dont know why they let customers still order? but its looking very unlikely they will be able to honour those orders
