samsung LE40N73BD problems

hi there, had the tv for about 2 months and have noticed a red line down the left hand side of the screen, and the red parts of the picture go funny when watching tv... it was intermitant at first, but now is becoming more regular. does anybody have any ideas? or how to get into the service menu.
the mute 1,8,2 power doesnt work on this tv.

Sorry i cannot help you with your problem but i would like to more a bit more about that model. I am very keen on it.

I have heard that it already has a HD freeview box with it. Is this true?
Also what is the sound like. I have heard that it could be better than the #r74 series.
And genrally whats it like going through normal Standard TV.
I have a Panny Plasma at the mo but think it's time to upgrade.

it does have freeview and hd, and the sound is perfect,,, but the picture is just poor and samsung are just no help, as i dont have a receipt....
