Hello all, been a long while!
I've had the samsung le40m87bdx for many years now, it has served me well. I'm looking to replace it with the samsung UE48H6400. Will this be worth it? or should I stick with what I've got, and wait till 4k becomes more mainstream, and affordable?

What are you looking for from the new TV? What are your uses, viewing angles etc?

The new Samsung should offer better picture, smart features, neater aesthetics and it's rather bigger

I'd wait for 4k unless you are an avid Netflix user

Mostly blu-ray, and Xbox One, viewing is dead center for main, and about 45 degrees for the other sofa. Not fussed about 3d, or smart, as I have all that via Virgin, and my PC.

You might want to check the viewing angle on the Samsung due to the panel used its not the best

I purchased the Samsung in the end, after having a demo in my local shop. Viewing angles are perfect for the room it's in :)
